Mayor Menino and VenCorps Announce Welcome Home Challenge Winner

It was an honor to have Mayor Menino and Mike Turillo from Vencorps at Bocoup yesterday to announce the winner of the Innovation District Welcome Home Challenge; My Life List. We were proud to have an opportunity to talk about Bocoup’s commitment to the innovation district, and to announce Boston Built a new website for Boston web apps; created by our friends at Upstatement and SignedOn.
It is great to see the City of Boston working with local venture capital to create opportunities for innovation. We are excited to see more opportunities for entrepreneurs to find seed funding for innovative open technology and open content startups.
Boston is the city for open web apps; web apps that use open technologies and open content policies. At Bocoup, we are deeply committed to innovation in this category, and very excited to see our great city stand in support of such a forward thinking economy.
