Rue La La developed Store Manager, an AngularJS-based internal tool for managing boutiques and merchandise for their flash sales. With the project behind schedule, their team needed assistance understanding patterns and designing components for common interactions across the system, as well as implementing intricate features intended to be used by their non-technical production staff.

Rue La La
Improving Tooling and Development Workflows
Four Bocoup engineers worked alongside Rue La La's developers, designers, and product/project managers to:
- Create reusable directives for complex interactions such as editable grids and calendars
- Improve tooling to reduce regressions, churn, and busy work
- Educate team members on principles and practices for maintaining modular and testable code
As a result of our time on the project, Store Manager was able to catch up to and exceed the velocity of other related projects within Rue La La's organization-wide platform rewrite. Not only did the project ship on time, morale within the team improved as we brought a thoughtful and rigorous approach to both code and project management.
