We are excited to announce that Yannick Assogba has joined Bocoup’s consulting team! Yannick impressed us from the start with his experience building large client-side web applications, and his interest in pushing the boundaries of JavaScript to explore new ideas. We are thrilled to start moving the web forward with Yannick in his new capacity at Bocoup.

Yannick joins us from IBM Research’s Visual Communication Lab, where he worked for a time alongside fellow Bocouper Irene Ros as a research developer. His contibutions to the web include Share, a tool for collaborative development in distributed communites of practice, and ManyBills, a visualization of congressional legislation he worked on while at IBM.

At Bocoup, Yannick will be contributing more to our work in Open Web data visualization, and continue to explore the intersection of computation, design, and art.

Be sure to follow Yannick on Twitter and GitHub, or stop by the next Boston Data Visualization meetup to talk to him about information visualization.
