Hubway Data Visualization Hack Day at Bocoup

A week or so ago we got some exciting news — The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) is releasing an incredible dataset about the usage of Hubway Bicycles that collects more than half a million rides! Not only is the data being released, but along with it a Visualization Challenge has been announced here. Our resident data visualization expert, Irene Ros, is one of the judges (and the grand prize is a one-year Hubway membership plus some great swag — not too shabby!).

We are really excited about the data and what it might reveal. We can’t wait to dive into it and thought it would be great if you joined us!

We are holding a Hubway Data Visualization Hack Day at the Bocoup Loft on:

October 27th
10:00am – 6:00pm
355 Congress st,
Boston, MA 02210.

Please RSVP here: http://hubwaydatachallenge.eventbrite.com/

See you soon!
