Lola leads Web Platform strategy and projects at Bocoup. Lola is an artist and tech worker, with experience across a number of industries as a software engineer, support engineer, and developer advocate.

Prior to joining Bocoup, Lola was a Developer Advocate at Samsung, focused on web privacy for the Samsung Internet browser. Lola has been the co-chair of the W3C Developer Council, and member of W3C Privacy Community Group, ARIA Working Group, and ARIA AT Community Group.

Lola is also a contributor to web documentation for the Mozilla Developer Network (MDN), and leader in community mentoring. In 2014, Lola founded blackgirl.tech, a non-profit organisation encouraging more Black girls, women and non-binary people to learn coding.

Outside of tech, Lola has two published poetry books, one of which (’Lost and Found’) was the Poetry Book Society's Autumn Pamphlet Choice in 2016.
